It's sad, but I think the best way to re-write DH would be to start ... at book 5. Or possibly even earlier. I mean, I want Harry to have pulled The Tales of Beedle the Bard off Ron's bookshelf when he went to the Burrow in Book 4 (just as an example). The whole series (nearly) needs ret-conning!!!!

Oh, and my ambition is still to buy two copies, rip out the pages and paste them onto larger sheets of paper, and then do as good an editing job on it as I can. It may need people wot can write (preferably not ones called Rowling) to fill in the gaps.
