As far as I can see nobody has pointed this out yet. So, either I'm really picky or it got drowned in all inconsistencies in the book/chapter.
When you consider whole book this is very minor objection. Hell, maybe I'm just a fussy person But, it's still bothers me to no end.

"„Here. Harry – couldn’t think what ter get teh, but then I remembered this.“ He pulled out a small, slightly furry drawstring pouch with a long string, evidently intended to be worn around the neck. „Mokeskin. Hide anythin’ in there an’ no one but the owner can get it out. They’re rare, them.“"
DH

"A Mokeskin purse is a purse made of the skin of a Moke, a magical lizard that can shrink at will. The purse contracts at the approach of strangers so that no one but the owner can open it and it is hard to steal.
Mokes are magical creatures from Britain and Ireland. They are silver-green lizards of up to ten inches in length which have the ability to shrink at will. Their existence has consequently escaped Muggle notice.
Mokeskin purses and moneybags are very valuable, because the scaly skin will contract at the approach of strangers."
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

Now, perhaps I'm terrible at biology but how is pouch made from lizard skin FURRY!? And since when scaly = furry?
Does anyone have any explanation for this? Best I have come with is that JKR had a brain fart while writing this.
Oh, I almost forgot! Great spork!
