I didn't know that! I suppose I should have checked the Lexicon, but I never heard of Mokeskin in any other book. It didn't occur to me that it might have been mentioned in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

And you're right. Scaly lizardskin does NOT equal fur. It doesn't make any sense. As usual.
