See? That’s the problem with the whole war affair. It’s not the right book for it. With all the puns and silly names and even sillier spells, the war and its dangers look completely pastede on yay. I can’t picture a serious hero saying “we have to fight, because this evil man will endanger the lives of all the idiots”. Not exactly inspiring, is it?

Because she bought it. I still don't know why she thinks she had the right to change her parents’ memories - it might have something to do with this. Being muggle, there’s no way they can understand the risk so she had to decide for them, you know? And it’s something of a running thing in the whole book. Even in the epilogue, she messed up someone’s head so Ron can get his driver license, remember that? It’s just like Dumbledore say: we have the power, we have the right.
