In the meantime, this is where you can post recommendations for fic and art that deal with plotholes Rowling never filled, with the Wizarding World at war, with the aftermath of the war, with AUs and dystopias, et cetera, et cetera, and so forth...you get the idea.

Some stories have been suggested already, and are listed here. I've added a few others. As other suggestions are made, I'll add them to the master list. I figure that will be easier to find later; I don't think anyone likes having to scramble through comments for rec links.

Bonding Through House Elf Murder by Chess. A one-shot about the Black family when they were little. Author's summary:Bellatrix and Sirius try to stop Regulus and Kreacher from bonding. Yeah right, kids.

Everything's Fine, Beautiful Marchesa by Fidelia. Translated from the Russian. Draco writes a letter to his father.

femgenficathon's Harry Potter Stories for 2007. And 2006. And 2005.

The French Connection by Anonymous. Addresses the question of Snape's survival and deals with the lingering aftereffects of war and loss. All is not instantly well.

Get a Life by camillo1978. Deconstructs the 'happy' epilogue to reveal all the rot beneath. It also addresses the need for Wizarding laws to be overhauled and the question of Goblins' Rights.

The Golden Age by Arsinoe de Blassenville. What happened between the end of the war and the epilogue. WIP. Highly recommended.

Harry Potter Book 7: THE TRUE STORY by 0freedom. Another DH parody; this one goes chapter by chapter, and has LOLcat Bellatrix among other things.

...huh, hadn't thought of the Neverwhere one (I think because it starts addressing the problems sooner than book 7).
I'm planning to pull up that anagram generator sometime soon and see if I can't give the Sneakers crossover a title from that. XD
